LAST CROSS RACE
It appears as if my last Cyclocross race for the 2010-11 season was last Saturday. I want to do more Cross races, as I was just finding my best form of the season. And now the season is complete. I will have to wait until next year now...

NICA AWARDS
I was very honored to receive a sweet award from the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.
The occasion was a very classy dinner and awards ceremony held at the super posh Clif Bar headquarters in Berkeley. It was quite the honor to be one of the selected individuals to get recognized for their contribution to High School MTB racing!
I love giving acceptance speeches!

RACING
First Criterium race of the season went well. Nice to be in the Bay Bikes team kit and on their fresh racing machine. Here is a video the final laps of the Criterium. At :25 seconds into the video, I can be seen in a 3 man break off the front of the pack(I was second wheel as we zoomed past the camera). Then you can see with 2 to go there was a large split in the field. I was there to support Logan Loader, and I sold out doing a 1/2 lap flyer to bridge the gap with only him on my wheel. It worked, we crossed the gap, and Logan delivered the win. You can hear his interview toward the end of the video with me cruising next to him on his right as he speaks. Fun times!
